Spring Pottery Cleaning!

I've been visiting my parents in So Cal for couple of weeks now to take care my dad's recovery from cancer and to help out with my mum.

The other day, my mum brought in a file box stuffed with newspaper wrapped things for me to take it back home to Maryland.

They were my hand-made potteries.

Over the years, I have given my parents many pieces of pottery I have created. They were sort of apology offerings to replace all the precious potteries my dad made that I broke, carelessly washing dishes, when I was younger.

While their Spring cleaning, they've decided to return most of my potteries, so I could enjoy them myself, and to accommodate their small dwelling.

They will go great with my already existing collection of my ceramic pieces along with ones I've been given by my friends and teachers.

Do you knit. sock. & love?

I finally got my own copy of Cookie A's book. It's a beautifully edited book. And to my sweet surprise, it's even a signed copy.

knit. sock. love.

One of my favorite sock design Monkey is in it. My MIL loves her Monkey Socks I knitted for her for Mother's Day in Rouge Stroll by KnitPicks.

Thanks to soft, comfy, ever-so-colourful, & hand-made socks, I am spreading love all over my family. No left over sock yarns go a miss at my stash pile. I use the left over yarns to knit up a wee pair of socks for my nephew Seamus, turning 2 in August.

Unlike my mum, my MIL, & SIL, I typically wear Children's Size 4 or Adult Size 6~6 1/2 shoes. Which means, I have to do a little bit of calculation to reduce stitches to accommodate my feet.
